Program launched June, 2006
 
Budget: $2.8 million plus significant in-kind contributions
 
Employs 60 Goodwill Industries workers (a total of 266 trainees since start-up)
 
Operates 7 days/week  360 days/year
 
Work Shifts:
6 a.m. - 11 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
7:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. (Saturday and Sunday)

Downtown:       257 tons
Riverfront:          94 tons
River Days:         35 tons
Midtown:            70 tons
 
39 Miles of Downtown Sidewalks:
Power washed 3 times annually
Power swept 18 times annually

The program has expanded (by contract) to include maintenance of the new Detroit RiverWalk and portions of the Midtown area.

North American International Auto Show, Detroit’s Winter Blast, Detroit Festival of the Arts, Detroit International River Days, Target Fireworks, Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix, Detroit International Jazz Festival, Red Bull Air Races, and other professional sporting and community events
